Honey Cinnamon Crunchy Granola

My breakfast one and only.

Time: 45 mins
Serves: every morning, for a month

You will need:

  • 5 cups whole rolled oats
  • 1 cup organic honey
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup dry coconut flakes
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp vainilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup goji berries (optional)

Method:

Preheat oven to 150 degrees celcius.

In a large bowl stir oats, honey, and melted coconut oil.

Stir in the rest of the ingredients except for the goji berries, mix well.

Cover a baking tray with parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and place in oven.

Bake for 15 minutes,  remove from oven and with a spatula flip granola over.

Place back in the oven and bake for another 15 minutes, remove from oven and repeat the flip.

Finally bake for another 5-10 minutes until granola looks brown, dry, and smells heavenly.

Remove from oven, let cool, and mix in goji berries.

Store in a dry container.

Serving toppings I leave to your creative mind.

Porción: todas las mañanas, durante un mes

Ingredientes:

5 tazas de avena en hojuelas
1 taza de miel orgánica
1 taza de almendras en rodajas
1/2 taza de aceite de coco
1/2 taza de semillas de girasol
1/2 taza de coco seco
1/4 taza de semillas de calabaza
2 cucharadas de semillas de chía
2 cucharadas de canela en polvo
2 cucharadas de vainilla
Una pizca de sal
1/2 taza de goji berries (opcional)

Pasos:

Precalentar el horno a 150 grados centígrados.

En un bowl grande mezclar la avena, miel y aceite de coco derretido.

Agregue el resto de los ingredientes excepto las goji berries, mezclar bien.

Cubrir una bandeja para hornear con papel pergamino y esparcir la mezcla de manera uniforme.

Espolvorear con canela y meter al horno.

Hornear durante 15 minutos, sacar del horno y con una espátula voltear la granola.

Volver a meter al horno y hornear por otros 15 minutos o hasta que la granola se vea seca y doradita.

Sacar del horno, dejar enfriar y mezclarle las goji berries.

Servir con yogurt o leche y fruta.
