Cinnamon Oatmeal

Time: 6 minutes
Serves: 1

You will need:

  • 3 tablespoons whole oats
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • sweetener to taste (agave nectar, honey, stevia)

Toppings:

  • fruit (banana, berries, apple, kiwi)
  • nuts
  • seeds

Method:

Place the oats in a saucepan with the boiling water, stir it together and let cook for about 5 minutes until the oats are soft and soaked.

Add the almond milk and stir continuously until the oats look smooth and creamy.

Finally mix in the cinnamon and sweetener.

Then serve with your favourite toppings!

Ingredientes:

  • 3 cucharadas de avena en hojuelas
  • 2/3 taza de agua hirviendo
  • 1/3 taza de leche (yo uso de almendras)
  • 1 cucharadita de canela molida
  • edulcorante al gusto (néctar de agave, miel, stevia)

Toppings:

  • frutas (banano, fresas, arándanos, manzana, kiwi)
  • nueces
  • semillas

Pasos:

Poner la avena en una hoya pequeña con agua hirviendo y revolver. Dejar cocer unos 5 minutos hasta que la avena absorba el agua y quede suave.

Añadir la leche de almendras y revolver continuamente hasta que la avena se vea cremosa.

Finalmente añadir la canela y la miel.

Servir caliente con tus toppings favoritos!
